Why should I invest in attending a physical event?

My mentee asked me this last week.

 

Based on the events that I have attended in the last decade, I could very clearly share that these are the places you get to know how to grow yourself.

 

My business and my thought process actually started to change because of such events.

 

Recently, I came across one of the posts on social media, and it again boosted my confidence and the same thing I shared with my mentee, too. I’m sharing it with you all, I’m sure it’ll help you align your thoughts.

 

Business networking events are your gateway to growth and success! Here’s why you must attend:

1.Build Connections: Meet clients, partners, and mentors who elevate your game. Never feel shy in sharing your challenge & seek guidance. Of course, it won’t be a detailed conversation, but it’s definitely a start for something big.

2.Discover Opportunities: Unlock jobs, partnerships, and hidden insights about investment and collaborations, too. 

3.Learn and Lead: Share your expertise, gain wisdom, and become the go-to authority. But don’t forget to keep your ears and mind open to learn. You never know, person sitting next to could be the life and game changer for you.

4.Boost Visibility: Make your business and personal brand visible to people. Talk about it to people.

5.Grow Confidence: Sharpen your skills. Dont sit in one corner & expect people to come & talk to you. 

6.Spark Referrals: Build trust, and the opportunities will follow. Don’t just randomly throw your business card. Have a conversation, understand the opportunities, and seize the moment.

7.Get Inspired: Surround yourself with ambitious people who push you higher. Listen to their conversations. Just by being in their company, many things shift inside us. Trust me, personal experience.
